The New Year, New Skills campaign was launched in January 2026 to inspire residents to upskill, retrain or begin a new learning journey at the start of the year. The campaign aimed to set a positive, motivating tone by encouraging learners to consider how developing new skills could support their personal goals, wellbeing and career progression.
What I Did
As a core contributor to the campaign, I created a significant portion of both the written content and the visual design assets. This included developing the central campaign messaging and designing the full set of TV screen graphics, posters and a multi‑page course listings brochure that covered all curriculum areas. I produced both the copywriting and the design for these materials, ensuring the tone was motivational, accessible and aligned with ACL’s brand.
I also designed a wide range of social media assets to support the campaign, creating engaging visuals and short‑form content that tied together the overarching message of starting the new year with fresh skills and opportunities.
Please note: Some assets are linked within the text above. Due to the volume of assets, I have only linked selected examples. These represent the overall style, strategy, and quality of work delivered. If you would like to view additional materials, I would be happy to provide them on request.
Results and Impact
The New Year, New Skills campaign increased early‑year visibility of ACL’s full course offer and provided a strong motivational message that resonated across centres and digital channels.
The cohesive suite of visuals and clear messaging helped curriculum teams promote their courses more effectively during a key enrolment period. The campaign’s multi‑format presence, from TV screens to printed posters to social assets, ensured strong reach and consistent presentation of ACL’s new‑year offer.
Overall, the campaign provided learners with a clear, positive invitation to begin the year by building new skills, supporting wider engagement and enrolment activity across January 2026.
